DON’T MISS [COMMENT]

Jo_hewitt77 commented: “This was stolen about a mile from my house.

“Really disappointing for you guys and us fans of the show. The hotel is so close to the motorway that it could have been anywhere in the country within a few hours.”

Meanwhile, other social media users were still confused why the plucky hatchback had never been spotted out on the road since the model was taken.

@Mr_Ben_Adams remarked: “When you think of all the cars restored on the show over the years and it’s this one that gets nicked.

“”Yes it’s worth a few quid but you’ve restored a Ferrari, a Lamborghini and that E30 M3. Think it’s mad no one has a clue where this car went when you think of all the cctv!!”

X user Steve Banks said: “Amazing that no one has found out what happened to this car. Obviously a few people involved in its theft…. And whatever happened to it after.

“Would have thought by now someone would have talked.”
