The region of Antiparos lies within the Cyclades Islands and is less than one nautical mile 1.18 miles (1.9 km) from Paros.

Despite its location near the main Greek islands, Antiparos is a stark contrast to its partying neighbours, Mykonos and Santorini.

The region greatly differs from these tourist-filled spots. It may not be as cosmopolitan or commercialised, but it has recently become a popular destination for jet-setters from across the world.

The island is only 6.8 miles from north to south with a maximum width reaching 2.8 miles but despite its size it packs a real punch.

Here you will find crystal clear beaches with castle ruins and a majestic cave to explore.

When it comes to culinary delights, Antiparos truly shines with fresh seafood found throughout including octopus – which some say is the best in the world.

Other delights to savour on this Greek getaway include an array of pork dishes, rabbit, snails with sun-dried whitebait and lobster in oil served in a white broth are all worth the hype.

Antiparos is located a stone’s throw away from its bigger neighbour paros and is accessible from there either by ferry or car ferry.
