Nicole Kidman has no intention of bidding farewell to her red carpet gowns anytime in the foreseeable future.

While speaking with W. Magazine,Kidman was asked whether she still owned her unforgettable red carpet dresses. She’s “saved all her dresses,” each one “beautifully boxed,” she said. The “Moulin Rouge” actor went on to call her garments “museum pieces.”

The reason she’s preserving them? They’re all for her daughters — Sunday, 16, and Faith, 14.

“They raid my wardrobe all the time,” Kidman confessed. “I’m like, ‘OK, what’s mine is yours.’”

The “Babygirl” actor went on to say that her gifting is a “one-way exchange” as her daughters don’t allow their mother to “take anything” from their closets.

And her personal favorite red carpet moment? That honor goes to the chartreuse Dior gown by Galliano that she wore to the 1997 Oscars.

In September 2024, Kidman’s mother died at the age of 84. In an interview later that year, the actor shared her mom’s last piece of advice.

“The final words my mama said, which I didn’t know were gonna be the final words: I was going to get on a plane and go back to see her,” the actor stated.

“Maybe wait a minute,” Kidman’s mother told her. “Because I think you just need to take care of yourself right now, Nicky.”
