This carrot cake takes less than five minutes to prepare
Baking is supposed to be a fun way to make something delicious, but too many recipes require pricy ingredients that you need to spend ages kitchen preparing.
However, Traci Wennerholm, a and founder of , has shared that her carrot cake can be simple to with just a handful of ingredients.
She said: “This five ingredient carrot cake is the perfect dessert for any occasion. It is moist, flavorful, and easy to make.
“The only ingredients you need are carrots, flour, sugar, eggs, and oil. You can even make it gluten-free and vegan easily!”
What is fantastic about this is that it only takes five minutes to prepare before you place it in the oven to cook for 25 minutes, so you can bake something tasty in no time at all.

How to make a simple carrot cake
Ingredients:
- 280g of grated carrots (Two cups)
- 190g of plain flour (One and a half cups)
- 300g of granulated sugar (One and a half cups)
- Three large eggs
- 240ml of vegetable oil (One cup)
Recipe:
To begin, preheat the oven to 180C and then grease a baking dish. Then, in a large mixing bowl, add the grated carrots, flour, sugar, eggs and oil.
Mix everything together until it is fully combined, and then pour the batter onto the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until you can insert a toothpick into the middle of the cake and it comes out clean.
Once you take it out of the oven, leave it to cool for 10 minutes before you remove it from the baking dish and place it on a wire rack to cool completely.

Ingredients:
- 225g of soft cream cheese (One cup)
- 115g of softened butter (Half a cup)
- 375g of icing sugar (Three cups)
- Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract
Recipe:
Add the cream cheese and butter to a large bowl and cream together until you have a light and fluffy yellow mixture.
Slowly add the icing sugar to the mixture and continue to mix until smooth.
Stir in the vanilla extract, and your frosting is ready. Apply it once the carrot cake has fully cooled.
