The Vancouver Canucks dealt with a second-period injury scare to Dakota Joshua, but he returned for the third period.
The bruising winger missed the second half of the second period Friday after taking an awkward hit in the leg by the Nashville Predators’ Roman Josi. Joshua looked in great discomfort after the collision and went to the dressing room, but was on the bench to start the third period.
Joshua lay on the ice for a moment then skated gingerly back to the Canucks’ bench. He sat on the bench for a minute or so in great discomfort, then at the next stoppage stepped on the ice to test his comfort level.
He came back to the bench and went immediately to the Canucks’ room and stayed in the room for the remainder of the period.
