Badenoch argued this number was inflated, claiming Reform had tracking the number of memberships it was getting.
Farage responded at the conference: “I gave her an opportunity to apologise for what has now been thoroughly disproven in the media and she’s chosen not to take the opportunity. Although that’s not surprising, she’s not exactly known for her charm.
“It’s all well and good saying sue her, but you have to prove actual harm. She hasn’t harmed us, she’s given us tens of thousands of more members.
Farage and Badenoch have been arguing about Reform’s membership numbers.
Farage spoke at Reform’s first party conference of 2025.
“On the 31st of this month, we’ve booked a big venue and I’m going to invite all our members and supporters in North West Essex to come along to meet me, to have a photograph.
“And we already have 800 supporters in her constituency … We’ll do a big joint photograph and I’ll tell her, ‘Kemi, not only are these not fake members, but we’re now going to make this a target constituency for the next general election. You had your chance, you accused me of being dishonest and you had your chance to apologise, well now the gloves are off’.”
Before the conference, Farage warned he would be giving his full response to Badenoch’s “crazy conspiracy theories” and demanded an apology from the Conservative Party leader.
He said: “An from Kemi Badenoch regarding her crazy conspiracy theories about Reform UK. I will be giving my full response at a sold out conference tonight in Leicester.”
The feud between the pair over the Reform membership live tracker erupted on Boxing Day, and on Christmas Day Badenoch accused the MP for Clacton of “manipulating” his supporters.

Farage even went to far as to hint at threatening legal action against Badenoch. He said: “I’m going to take some action in the next couple of days, and I’ve got to decide exactly what it is.”
