The issued another for ice in parts of Wales overnight until 10am this morning as temperatures plummeted.
The news comes while two other yellow warnings were in place for ice and covering northeast Scotland, and ice across Northern Ireland, parts of northwest England and other areas of Scotland.
The said: ” Wintry showers are expected to affect parts of north and west Wales at times on Thursday night.
“Whilst any snow is likely to be confined upwards of 200 metres and produce accumulations of no more than 1-2 cm in a few places, rain and sleet at low levels will leave surfaces wet and allow ice to form where untreated,” it added.
From noon on Saturday, the majority of England is under a yellow warning for snow and ice until Sunday at midnight.

A yellow weather warning for snow will covering most of Scotland from midnight on Sunday to noon on Monday, with the possibility of power outages, rural communities being cut off and various travel delays, the said.
The following warnings are in place or coming into effect in the hours and days ahead:
• Yellow snow and ice warning for northeast Scotland (Thursday 4pm to Friday 10am)
• Yellow ice warning for northwest Scotland, northwest England and parts of Northern Ireland (Thursday 5pm to Friday 10am)
• Yellow snow warning for most of England, southern Scotland and all of Wales (noon on Saturday to Monday 9am)
