Jamie Oliver’s tasty 15-minute pasta recipe is ‘super easy’ to make

shared his 15-minute pasta that is a perfectly healthy and tasty vegetarian dish.

The chef revealed how to recreate his tomato and caper linguine with zesty lemon and moreish cheese.

Promising the is “super easy” to follow, ‘s dish only requires six ingredients.

While the dish is vegetarian, it’s not suitable for vegans because it has Parmesan cheese.

For meat lovers, if they so wish, they could add canned mackerel into the dish to make a non-vegetarian version.

Tomato and caper linguine

Ready in: 15 minutes

Serves: four people

Ingredients

400g linguine

Olive oil

350g tomato passata

Five tbsp capers

One lemon

Parmesan cheese

Method

Cook the linguine in a pan of boiling salted water, according to the packet instructions.

Meanwhile, drizzle some olive oil into a medium saucepan over a medium heat, add the tomato passata and capers, then finely grate in half the lemon zest.

Simmer for five to seven minutes, then season with salt and black pepper.

Once the linguine is al dente, drain and toss with the sauce to coat. Finely grate over some Parmesan and extra lemon zest to serve.
