Thomas Tuchel will watch Tottenham’s Premier League clash with Newcastle in his first England scouting mission this weekend. The German formally became the new Three Lions boss on January 1 and his full coaching team has now been confirmed.
England stars from Spurs and will get the first opportunity to win Tuchel’s approval ahead of his first World Cup qualifiers in March. James Maddison, , Anthony Gordon, Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall will all hope to impress the 51-year-old.
Hall was handed his senior club debut by Tuchel at and will want to be in international contention after making his England bow in November.
Tuchel will continue to cast his eye over a range of players ahead of naming his first England squad in March. His first fixtures come against Latvia and Albania on March 21 and 24, respectively.
