graced our screens once again, hosting the third series of the gripping show where contestants will battle it out to take home a staggering £120,000.

The stakes were high from the get-go as the three Traitors were unveiled to the audience: Armani, Linda, and Minah – and they wasted no time plotting their first move.

The cunning trio set their sights on Yin, fearing her intelligence could be a threat, making her the first player to be ‘murdered’. With the game fully underway, let’s take a look back at what the previous winners did with their eye-watering cash prizes.

The first series of the show – which launched in 2023 – crowned three winners after they caught out the final Traitor in the group – Wilfred Webster.

After losing several group challenges throughout the series, comedian Hannah Byczkowski, call centre Meryl Williams and property agent Aaron Evans split the prize pot of £101,050.

It’s fair to say they all had different plans for spending their winnings. Hannah said she would spend her prize money on a car to travel to and from London and Stoke-on-Trent for her gigs.

Meanwhile, Meryl said she would be spending her money on changing her career path from her call centre job in the hopes of becoming a TV presenter. However, Aaron said he had given his winnings to his mother so that she could put a deposit down on a house.

Last year, former British Army engineer Harry Clarke stole the winnings as the only remaining Traitor in the final. The 23-year-old took home the staggering £95,150 prize pot after deceiving disability model Mollie Pearce, 21, into thinking he was a fellow Faithful.

After the nail-biting final hit the airwaves, the TV personality joined Lorraine on her daytime show where he revealed what he did with his winnings.

He told the Scottish host that he gave his winnings to his parents without a second thought. Harry explained: “I just sorted them out. I mean, my whole way through life, it was just all about my family, my loved ones and my other half.

“As long as I’m there to provide for my family, that’s all that matters to me. So being able to pay off their debts and things like that, and now I’m taking them away for a family holiday.”

Fans will have to stay tuned to see which players will make it to the grand final and steal the staggering jackpot this year.

The Traitors airs on Wednesdays from 9pm on One or catch up on iPlayer.
