was reportedly “absolutely against” an offer Prince Harry made to the Royal Family last year to help them in their time of need, a royal expert has claimed.
Back in February, King Charles confirmed he had been diagnosed with cancer and had revealed this to his family, including in America, before the news broke worldwide.
While the relationship between the monarch, 76, and his youngest son had been strained since Harry, 40, quit life as a senior royal in 2020, it was reported that to support his father during this time.
The offer was not only refused by the Palace but also disliked by his wife Meghan, 43, who has shown no signs of ever wanting to return to the Royal fold. Royal expert and author Tom Quinn told the at the time that the Duke made the offer “safe in the knowledge it would be rejected” and he wouldn’t have to return.
He continued: ” knows he will never be allowed to be a permanent part-time working royal staying six months in the States and then six months in the UK.The family no longer trust him and, besides, Meghan is absolutely against it. There is far too much bad blood now for it to be even a remote possibility.”
