The majority of cars and trucks recalled are Super Duty diesel pickups, with fuel pumps that may react badly to biodiesel
- Ford is recalling 295,449 Super Duty trucks in the U.S. for potential fuel-pump failure
- Recalls were also issued for potential problems with other Ford and Lincoln vehicles
- So far Transport Canada hasn’t issued any, but they may be coming
If a recall applies to your vehicle, the automaker must send you a recall notice by stamp-on-the-envelope mail. If you move or purchase a used vehicle, contact that brand’s customer service and update your mailing address so you’ll receive any recalls that are issued for it.
