And now experts have revealed the nation’s most beautiful streets that tourists can’t stop photographing.
Travel experts t analysed hashtag data to reveal the UK’s most streets.
Whether you’re seeking the perfect backdrop for your festive snaps or simply want to wander through the UK’s historic charm, these 18 streets are not to be missed.
has dominated the ranking with six streets coming out on top. Oxford Street is streets ahead of the rest, boasting a jaw-dropping 1,020,700 hashtags.

This shopping precinct is magical at Christmas with a whopping 300,000 lights hanging across the streets – but get in early as it’s also the busiest shopping street in Europe so it can get packed quickly.
Regent Street follows with 469,200 hashtags, famous for its grand angel Christmas lights, while Carnaby Street adds a quirky flair, drawing 425,000 snaps. There’s also the colourful homes of Portobello Road with 362,000 hashtags and Bond Street’s opulent festive displays with 290,000 hashtags.
The sixth most popular street is London’s Neal’s Yard shines with its vibrant, multicoloured buildings, attracting 184,000 posts.
The first non-London street to make the list is Victoria Street in Edinburgh, known for its colourful shops along a winding cobblestone lane. Famous with Harry Potter fans as the so-called inspiration for Diagon Alley, the iconic street becomes even more enchanting with the twinkling of Christmas lights.

Circus Lane in Edinburgh made the list
Two other Edinburgh streets make it on to the lsit with the medeival buildings and history of the Royal Mile bringing in 22,600 hashtags and Circus Lane’s quaint flower-covered mews earning 20,000.
In eight place is Bath’s Royal Crescent. Its sweeping crescent-shaped row of Georgian houses is a sight to behold every season, and has garnered 56,600 hashtags.
Close behind, The Shambles in York follows in ninth with 53,800 hashtags, captivating visitors with its maze of narrow alleys and 600-year-old wooden-framed buildings.
In tenth place there is Gold Hill in Dorset rounds off the top ten most photographed streets in the UK with 39,700 hashtags, perhaps due to the stunning sweeping views available at the top of the hill.
