Hoda Kotb and her daughters welcomed the new year with a colorful party.
On Dec. 31, the TODAY co-anchor shared a few celebratory photos and a video of the evening on Instagram.
The trio were all smiles, including Hoda’s daughters Haley, 7, and Hope, 5, who wore sparkly dresses and a tiara to mark the occasion. In the photos, the three waved light sticks while posing on the couch and in front of large balloons spelling out “2025.”
The room appears washed in pink, with the coffee table covered in party favors, like festive glasses and hats.
Hoda also shared a cheerful video of her daughters dancing with their light sticks with Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the U.S.A.” playing in the background.
Hoda welcomed the new year in the caption, writing, “Happy 2025!!!!”
Big changes are coming for Hoda in 2025. Back in September, she announced her decision to leave her position at TODAY.
Her last day as both co-anchor of TODAY and co-host of TODAY with Hoda & Jenna will be Jan. 10, 2025, but Hoda has said she will remain a part of the NBC family.
Jenna Bush Hager teased on the Dec. 18 episode of TODAY with Hoda & Jenna that plenty of celebrations are scheduled for Hoda’s week to make sure she gets a proper send-off.
“There will be big surprises, lots of surprises that Hoda won’t even know about,” Jenna said during the show.
As she steps away from her duties at TODAY, Hoda is looking forward to spending more time with her family in 2025.
In particular, she’s excited to walk her daughters to school.
During the Dec. 18 episode of Hoda’s “Making Space” podcast, she said, “When I was mentioning here that I was going to leave the TODAY show, one of our producers came upstairs in the makeup room, and she said, ‘I want to say something to you.’ She goes, ‘My mother walking me to school every day was the best memory I’ve ever had.’
