Logan Paul’s boxing ability has been questioned after sharing a video of himself training, amid rumours that he could be gearing up to fight . It was recently suggested that both Paul and McGregor were in discussions for a boxing exhibition match in India, hosted by the billionaire Ambani family.

The Irish fighter confirmed the reports via Twitter, and Paul further fuelled the rumours by liking a post about the news and sharing clips of his training sessions.

In one eight-second video, filmed at the gym he shares with his younger brother Jake in Puerto Rico, Paul can be seen throwing arm punches during what appears to be a light workout – but fans were not impressed with his technique.

One commented: “He’s been doing this since 2017 and he still doesn’t know how to throw a punch correctly,” while another added: “I’ve seen guys throw better punches after going to one boxing session in their lives.”

Paul has not yet commented on the claims that he will return to boxing to take on McGregor, but he is currently contracted to WWE, where he is expected to have a larger role in 2025. However, he has previously demonstrated his willingness to step away from the company for fights, having faced Dillon Danis in an exhibition bout last year.

The combat sports world was abuzz with speculation after a fake account sparked rumours of a fight between Conor McGregor and Ilia Topuria. However, the story gained traction when McGregor and TheMacLife, which is run by the esteemed journalist Oscar Willis who is known to have a relationship with the Irishman, shared news on social media.

McGregor himself clarified the situation, stating: “The rumours of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”

Despite this announcement, McGregor’s future in MMA remains uncertain as he has not been scheduled for a fight since 2021 and had to cancel a planned match with Michael Chandler due to a toe injury earlier this year.
