Ellie Costello revealed she is set to hit a major milestone in 2025 as she opened up about the year ahead. 

The presenter, 31, hosted the GB News Breakfast Show alongside Stephen Dixon on Tuesday (December 31), which will become a permanent fixture in 2025 as she is due to replace Isabel Webster. 

Discussing their plans for 2025, Ellie gushed that she is getting married. 

“It’s my marriage year,” she told her co-stars. “It’s quite scary just thinking about it.”

The GB News star said that she has a countdown which is currently on 190 days, meaning she will likely tie the knot with fiance in July. 

Admitting plans for the wedding are far from finished, Ellie added: “It doesn’t sound very far and there’s still a lot to do.”

Earlier in the month, GB News announced that Isabel, 41, will no longer host the Breakfast Show alongside Eamonn Holmes. Instead, Ellie has been promoted to hosting the programme five days a week.

A GB News spokesperson said on Wednesday: “Ellie Costello will now co-host GBN Breakfast five days a week, presenting alongside Eamonn Holmes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and with Stephen Dixon on Thursday and Friday.

“Stephen and Anne Diamond will continue to co-present GB News Breakfast at Weekends.”

In a scathing tell-all, the Friday Night Live presenter, 50, shared what really went on behind the scenes.

Taking to his YouTube account on December 20, the comedian launched his own show – . On there he posted a clip called ‘SACKED by GB News – My Story’.

He said that he had been paid to “have an opinion” and would never change what he said before promising that he would be “naming and shaming in the months ahead”.
