BBC Strictly Come Dancing star drops major baby bombshell just months after giving birth

presenter has dropped a major baby bombshell with her doting husband Marcel Badiane-Robin.

The beloved It Takes Two host – who is set to host the National Lottery’s New Year’s Eve Big Bash at the OVO Wembley Arena – has had one hell of a year.

Not only did the Hits Radio presenter, 37, replace Rylan Clark on the spin-off show, she also welcomed her first child, Nova, with her rapper husband.

The musician – who rose to fame on X Factor back in 2014 – returned to work in September and delighted fans as Janette Manrara’s co-host on the long-running show.

Now, the brunette beauty has teased when she would like to expand her family of three – and it’s not long off. In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, the musician revealed her plans to be a mother again in the new year.

She told us: “Yeah, I’d hope to have another baby in the future. I mean, it’s so funny, me and my husband were like, ‘Let’s just wait until she gets to one and then maybe we’ll have a conversation about it at that point’.”

The doting mum admitted that it has been no easy feat to be a working mum with a growing career. Fleur went on: “Because honestly, it’s so difficult to the point where you think, ‘How does anyone with multiples do it?’ I can’t get my head around it.

“And also, people who follow up with another baby very soon after their first. I applaud anyone who does that because it’s quite a difficult thing to adjust to in the beginning and I think right now, me and my husband are just really enjoying Nova right now.”

“So, I think we don’t want to hurry it too much before having another one,” she chuckled. Fleur went on to reflect on what her first few months of motherhood has been like since she delivered her daughter in March.

She gushed: “It surprised me so much in the sense that I didn’t realise how overwhelming it would be both positively and negatively.

“I remember being up and being so exhausted in the first few weeks and sitting there feeling like, ‘My God. I used to think I was tired, but actually, I haven’t known anything like this’.

“And then equally, as soon as she would wake up in the middle of the night, I would love just holding her and being there with her while she was awake.

“So, it’s that toss-up between wanting to have sleep but also wanting your baby to wake up so you could see them and play with them again.

“It’s like this love has been overwhelming and I really didn’t expect it. I mean, you know you’re going to love your child but I don’t think anyone can really prepare you for how deep the love is.”

It comes as Fleur East prepares to host the star-studded New Year’s Eve party alongside her co-host Vernon Kay. Fans will see performances from musicians including Craig David, Perrie Edwards, Ella Henderson and Olly Alexander to name a few.

Speaking about the show, she reflected on all the amazing work that was done over the past 12 months. Fleur gushed: “It was just nice to look over all the amazing moments we’ve had through the year and celebrate some of the people that have been doing some amazing work for their communities as well.

“Because it’s not just a party for everyone for New Year’s Eve, it’s actually looking over at the organisations and the people that have done amazing with with the funding that the National Lottery gives out to charities and organisations.

“So it was cool to learn about that because you don’t think when you buy a lottery ticket about that side of it. There’s actually a lot of people that it helps.”

The National Lottery’s New Year’s Eve Big Bash is set to air on ITV1 from 5.45pm or catch up on ITVX.
