Kristin Cavallari opens up about going a date with Morgan Wallen – and the 1 thing that threw her

Kristin Cavallari isn’t afraid to show her cards when it comes to dating.

While appearing on the “Dumb Blonde” podcast hosted by Bunnie XO, wife of country singer Jelly Roll, Cavallari opened up about dating. This comes after Cavallari shared she and her ex-boyfriend Mark Estes broke up in October, and before that, she and her ex-husband Jay Cutler announced their divorce in 2020.

When speaking about her dating life on the Dec. 30 episode, “The Hills” alum specifically addressed whether she dated country music star Morgan Wallen after rumors of a romance in 2023.

Confirming she “definitely hung out” with Wallen, Cavallari called the “Last Night” singer a “good guy” who is “very sweet” with a “big heart.”

“The first date that we went on, he was a true gentleman. He’s like, ‘I’ll pick you up, I’ll pick the place,’” Cavallari said, recalling Wallen “just f—— handled business.”

Cavallari said Wallen picked her up and met her three kids — sons Camden and Jaxon and daughter Saylor — who were “so excited” over the introduction.

“(Wallen) got us a private room with his bodyguard,” she continued of the date. “He dropped me off. He kissed me in the rain. And it was the sweetest thing. We hung out thereafter.”

Despite the “sweet” first date with Wallen, Cavallari said the relationship also involved its highs and lows, calling it “a lot.”

“I’ll be honest, Morgan was the first guy in my entire f—— life that wasn’t like just completely enamored with me,” Cavallari explained.

“It really threw me,” she added.

“I love having the upper hand and, with him, I didn’t feel like I had the upper hand,” she continued. “I was like, ‘I’m going to get it.’ Never did.”

When Bunnie XO asked if Wallen was romantic, Cavallari laughed and didn’t answer. She added that he was “good in bed.”

“I will say, I walked away from him a couple times and I’m the one who ultimately ended it. But I never really had him,” Cavallari said.

Though Cavallari said she has “nothing but good things” to say about Wallen, she’s “glad” the relationship didn’t work out in hindsight.

“I love Morgan but I don’t want to be with Morgan,” Cavallari said, adding that she hasn’t spoke to him in “probably a year.”

In September 2023, Cavallari addressed rumors of dating Wallen while appearing as a guest on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

At the time, she confirmed that she was not “dating” Wallen. But when host Andy Cohen asked if she went on a date with him, Cavallari coyly responded, “I don’t know, I don’t know,” then pretended to zip her lips shut.
