Coronation Street is reportedly lining up a heartbreaking storyline with one fan favourite killed off

alum Sacha Parkinson, known for her role as Sian Powers on the cobbled streets of Weatherfield, has announced her pregnancy. The actress joyously declared that 2025 is “going to be a wild” ride.

Revealing her pregnancy with endearing polaroid pictures in which she’s adorned in red silk pyjamas, flaunting her growing baby bump, Sacha expressed festive cheer by posting: “Merry Xmas Eve huns. I have a feeling next year is going to be a wild one.”

Upon hearing the wonderful news, fellow star Brook Vincent, who played Sacha’s on-screen love interest, Sophie Webster, shared her elation: “I love you all so much!!!”

Lucy Fallon, better known to fans as Bethany Platt and who is anticipating her second child, was quick to celebrate the announcement: “Congratulations!!!! Yayyyyy exciting news xxx.”

Ellie Leach, who left the cobbles to shine on the stage, couldn’t hide her excitement, stating: “Sooooo excited.”

Added to the congratulations was Georgia May Foote, the actress behind Katy Armstrong, with a thrilled: “Omg!!! This is amazing! Congratulations!!!”

Sacha also made headlines back in October 2023 when she revealed her engagement.

Capturing the milestone moment, she shared a charming selfie with her fiance, her hand proudly displaying the gleaming engagement ring.

Her caption effused with energy: “I knew you were likely to take a wife! ” and “SCREAMING”, perfectly encapsulating her exhilaration at the upcoming nuptials.
