Argos is urging those who bought the Orchard Toys Fun Food Bingo game to return it.
Argos is urging those who bought the Orchard Toys Fun Food Bingo game to return it to their nearest store for a full refund. The popular children’s present is being recalled over concerns it could be contaminated with mildew.
The game was sold between September 1 and December 23 and was priced at £10. It has now been removed from the Argos website.
A notice on the website reads: “Orchard Toys is recalling the above Fun Food Bingo; the product may present a risk of microbial contamination. It has been identified that there may be small amounts of mildew on the cotton bag included in the game.
“Mildew may pose a risk to health in individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mildew.

Tesco has also issued a recall for numerous products this month.
In other recall news, Tesco issued a warning over its own-brand packs of ten cooked beef slices with the incorrect date stamp. Labelled with the use-by date of January 24, 2024, the correct use-by date is actually at the latter end of next year, December 24, 2025.
The same supermarket also recently asked customers to return its Tesco Finest All Butter Pastry Mince Pies due to the potential presence of pieces of dried glue from packaging.
Meanwhile, money-saving shop Aldi recalled its Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns as they may contain sesame, which is not declared on the label, posing a health risk to anyone with an allergy to sesame.
