While the thought of another general election might make some feel like crying “not another one!”, having seen what a Labour government really looks like may make others think twice.
The nation headed to the polls on July 4, 2024, and another election must be held no later than August 15, 2029.

Parliament will debate the petition on January 6, as any petitions with more than 100,000 signatures will be considered for debate.

While it is not expected the debate will lead the Prime Minister to call a snap election, Conservative Leader said it showed “two million people asking him to go” after Labour’s first Budget since 2010.
