Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have shared that they are expecting their first baby together after nine years of marriage. The actress took to to share the sweet news in an emotional post on Sunday evening (December 29).
The 36-year-old mum to be shared a snap of her craddling her baby bump on the beach. She captioned it, writing: “2025 is going to be a special one for us…”
Famous friends of the stars flocked to the comments to wish them well. This Morning star Rochelle Hulmes wrote: “Over the moon for you both.”
Fellow former actress Ellie Leach added: “Amazing, congratulations,” while the partner of star Kelvin Fletcher, Liz, wrote: “So beautiful xxx”.
Michelle hit out at people asking her about when she would be starting a year earlier this year. Speaking to the press, she said: “It’s horrible. People don’t know if we’re trying. They don’t know the background of what’s happening.
“In this day and age, you shouldn’t be asking questions like that. I’m asked purely because I’m a woman. But I’m immune to it now – it’s like a reaction, and as soon as I hear it I brush it off as it’s no one else’s business.”
In a recent admission, the actress shared that she and Mark had entered a “boring” phase of their relationship. In a candid admission, she shared: “In the old days we’d go out for dinner and drinks until the early hours.
“But now after dinner, I’ll look at my watch and say, ‘It’s 9.30pm, we’d better get back home for bedtime.’ It’s a bit more boring now.”
