A Royal fan who was at the Christmas walkabout has rushed to Princess Kate’s defence to and credit the “brave” future queen after she was accused of not enjoying the annual tradition.
42, alongside her husband the , 42, and their children, Prince George, 11, , nine, and Prince Louis, six, joined the King and Queen as they walked the short distance from Sandringham House to St Mary Magdalene Church, past a crowd of well-wishers.
Here Kate shared hugs, and was given large bouquets of flowers by well wishers but despite this some people have taken to social media since the event to say that the princess looked as if she didn’t enjoy the walkabout and was simply making herself do it.

This prompted one royal fan, who was at Sandringham, to defend Kate, who “took time to listen and talk to everyone who had come to see her”.
The fan on X wrote that “her voice may have wavered at first” but the brave future queen “spent about 40 minutes” with members of the public in the freezing year after what has been a brutal year for Princess Kate.
“This was the first time the PoW interacted with the public in a year. She’s been so brave. Her voice may have wavered at first, but from the moment she got out of church, she went to meet all the people there. She was there, supported by those who loved her”, said the X user.
Earlier this year Kate was diagnosed with cancer following an operation, resulting in her having to step back from royal duties as she underwent treatment.
The princess and has since made a gradual return to work as she continues her recovery.

The fan noted that Kate was “genuinely happy” to be at the annual Christmas traditon calling her an “incredible and remarkable person” and appealed to the public to stop “lynching” the mother of three.
The Royal fan added: “While other members of the Royal family had sped down the path, she stood there, allowed them all to outstrip her. Her husband had to call a security member to tell her to hurry.
The Royal fan added: “So please, PLEASE: enough lynching. The woman I saw on Christmas Day is a woman, a wife, a mother who, suffering from cancer, smiled and had a kind word for everybody. The woman I saw is a future Queen. A truly remarkable and kind person.”
