Coming in eye-catching spherical cans, they’re definitely not your typical ready-to-drink cocktail. However, they’re hugely popular over in the States where the company originated.

In fact, they sell 100 million cocktails every year across the pond – so it’s only right that people here in the UK should get to try them.

Coinciding with party season, you can now pick up BuzzBallz from your local Lidl or Morrisons Daily for just £3.99 each. And with each cocktail coming in at 13.5% abv for 200ml, they’re a fantastic and unique option for ringing in the New Year.

Don’t miss… [UPDATE]

After trying out a couple of different flavours, there was one that really stood out to me, and I’ll definitely be stocking up in preparation for New Year’s Eve.

One of the tastiest flavours in my opinion was the Strawberry ‘Rita. Made with premium tequila, vodka, and natural flavours, it was a sweet treat that made me wish I was on holiday and not stuck in the house with a snowstorm brewing outside.

However, this drink was the next best thing, especially when served nice and chilled and drank straight from the can.

Another flavour that I couldn’t wait to try was the espresso martini – which is one of my favourite cocktails and the one I’m most likely to order on a night out.

I find that canned espresso martinis are always slighty disappointing compared to the real thing, but this one wasn’t bad at all. It went down very smoothly and had a nice aromatic coffee flavour without being too bitter.

I would have liked if it was maybe a little bit sweeter, but for £3.99 you really can’t go wrong at all.

Choc tease

But the best one by far was the chocolate tease flavour. With its creamy appearance, I was expecting it to taste like a White Russian – another go-to cocktail of mine.

However, after taking the first sip, it was clear to see that this cocktail has been inspired by the gorgeous festive flavours of Bailey’s instead.

Rich without being too sickly, and crafted with real cream and a decadent chocolate flavouring, this was the absolute standout for me. It’s just like having a little glass of Bailey’s on the go – and who doesn’t want this?

However, if these flavours don’t sound appealing to you, don’t fret – Buzzballz also come in the flavours Tequila ‘Rita, Pornstar Martini, Chilli Mango and Lotta Colada.

They’re also available in selected convenience stores across the UK if you can’t find them in your nearest Morrison’s or Lidl. And although they can be enjoyed straight from the can, you can also serve them over ice or with garnishes if you really want to impress your guests.
