The train departs Brussels at 5pm and arrives in Venice at 2pm the following day, stopping in cities like Munich and Innsbruck along the way.
With views of the Dolomites before arriving at the iconic canals of Venice, this route is perfect for spring travelers, especially during the Venice Carnival from February 14 to March 5.
Tickets start at €139 (£115), with sleeper cabins in high demand. The onboard experience includes a restaurant car, a lounge bar, and an optional breakfast served before arrival.

For those who prefer traveling during the day, a high-speed ICE train will connect and Berlin starting December 16, 2025.
The journey will take just eight hours, departing Paris at 9:55am and arriving in Berlin by 6:03pm.
Stops include Strasbourg and Frankfurt, with tickets starting at €59.99 (£50). Onboard perks include free Wi-Fi, a restaurant car.

The Orient Express La Dolce Vita brings back the elegance of classic train travel.
Launching in April 2025, it will offer routes from to Venice, Portofino, and Matera, with plans to expand to Paris and Istanbul.
The train features deluxe cabins, master suites, and the opulent “La Dolce Vita” suite.
Tickets start at €2,500 (£2,078) per person per night.

GoVolta
Starting in September 2025, GoVolta aims to make train travel accessible for everyone.
Dubbed the “easyJet of railways,” this Dutch company will offer routes like to Berlin for as low as €10 (£8).
Future destinations include Copenhagen and Basel. While travel times may be slower, the affordability makes it an ideal option for those prioritising savings.
Every train will have at least 110 tickets available for under €10 (£8).
