The UK is home to an that has been left largely abandoned and is now used as a filming location, allowing people to walk up its runways.
Blackbushe Airport, an operational general aviation airport located in the civil parish of Yateley, Hampshire, dating back to the Second World War.
The airport, which is situated north of the A30 road between Camberley and Hook, was once so expansive that it straddled this road, causing traffic to be halted while airliners were towed across.
The southern side of the airport was used for aircraft maintenance, utilising hangars built during the war. Today, only the section of the airfield north of the A30
The flat piece of land on which the airport is sited is historically known as Hartford Bridge Flats, with the nearest towns being Yateley and Fleet.

Constructed in 1942, Blackbushe boasts vast areas of hard standing land, including an active runway, two disused runways, and numerous service roads.
Despite being overshadowed since 1958 by the growth of Heathrow and Gatwick airports, Blackbushe was once a significant hub for passenger and cargo charter flights
The airport is home to several corporate jets, two flying schools, a helicopter training facility, and Aerobility, a charity that provides disabled people with the opportunity to fly.
The airport is open to the public and is a around its perimeter and wildlife spotting in Yateley Common and Castle Bottom National Nature reserve.

On 31 July 2015, a tragic accident occurred when an Embraer 505 Phenom 300 HZ-IBN overshot the runway on landing and crashed into the British Car Auctions site.
All four passengers on board were killed, including three members of the bin Laden family.
Now, the space is as its close to London and many of England’s renowned filming studios such as Pinewood and Shepperton.
