Non-league club Tamworth have sparked a major backlash after significantly hiking ticket prices for their upcoming game against .Fans on social media have voiced their opposition to the extortionate prices, which will see home supporters charged as much as £42 to watch the biggest game in their club’s history.Children under 17 years of age will be forced to pay £34 for a ticket in the main stand, while those under 10 will need to shell out £29. Fans above the age of 66 will also need to pay inflated fees, with main stand tickets priced at a whopping £37.Tamworth have faced a significant backlash as a result of the pricing system, with fans accusing them of excessive greed and fleecing their own supporters.

Many users on X (formerly Twitter) said that while they understood Tamworth needed to take advantage of the financial gain, the increase was simply too extreme.@TylerBirtles said: “That pricing is an absolute disgrace. You should seriously reconsider what you’re doing. What a joke.”Others went even stronger, with @RedimpsLCFC writing: “You should be ashamed with these prices. All your fans who have gone to the qualifying round games are now priced out.”The magic of the FA Cup is about the fans and you’ve ruined it for your own. Don’t deserve a home tie to a team if this is how you treat fans.”
