are on the hunt for a schoolboy, believed to be between 11 and 12-years-old, following a shocking daylight sexual assault on a woman.
The boy, who is described as white, allegedly approached the woman and touched her inappropriately just a week before Christmas.
He was reportedly wearing a black bomber jacket and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
The public is being urged by police to come forward with any information about the incident, which took place in Woodford, Northamptonshire.
Northamptonshire Police stated: “Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in High Street, Woodford.

“The incident happened on Tuesday, December 17, between 12pm and 12.30pm, when a boy approached a woman and touched her inappropriately.”
“The suspect is described as a white boy, aged 11-12, with short, light brown hair and wearing a black bomber jacket and blue jeans. He walked away in the direction of Mill Road.
“Witnesses or anyone with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Please quote incident number 24000747520 when passing on any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.”
