The Prince of Wales and his family were greeting fans after the Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

The father had his work cut out for him as he fended off endless gifts such as Cadbury chocolates, stuffed animals and flower bouquets, having collected as many as the family could carry.

In a video circulating on X, Prince Louis looked excited by the presents he received from members of the public – as did his older brother George, who was carrying a large blue stuffed teddy bear and a sizeable box of chocolates.

As they moved along, the crowd offered even more treats as well as hand-written notes and handshakes but William put his foot down when it came to the chocolates, declining two people.

Stood next to his father, Louis was holding a Mickey Mouse stuffed toy and a book and stepped forward to accept the gift. But he was cut off by his father and stopped mid-step.

“No, no, you can’t give all the chocolates! Definitely not. You’ve got to keep them for yourself as well”, said William with a smile. “Merry Christmas! Have a lovely day!”

In another video, Louis had his hands full of gifts when another well-wisher offered him a Father Christmas headband. He accepted the headband, thanking the person who gifted it and returning to his father and siblings.

, who was greeting well-wishers with enthusiasm, appeared amused by his youngest son’s haul and said: “You’ve got that as well.”

When the family started to move along, Louis appeared to struggle to keep hold of everything he had received. He returned to his father and asked: “Papa, can you carry some?”

Princess Charlotte and Prince George also accepted their presents as they waved to the crowds while standing alongside their father.
