A beautiful known for its stunning beaches just few hours away from the UK is the best spot in to avoid the rain.

Valencia, located on Spain’s eastern coast, is renowned for its mild Mediterranean climate, making it one of the most pleasant destinations in Europe. 

The city experiences warm summers and mild winters, with an average annual temperature of around 17–19C. 

Travel gurus at have identified the European city that experiences the least rainfall during winter. And Valencia is just two hours from London, making it an excellent city break for craving some sunshine and a chance to dry off.

Lonja de la Seda is a  UNESCO World Heritage Site, the gothic building was once a bustling silk exchange.

The city is well-connected by buses, trams, and an efficient metro system.

Valencia’s mild weather, combined with its stunning beaches, vibrant festivals like Las Fallas, and rich cultural heritage, makes it a year-round destination for travellers seeking a comfortable climate in Europe.

“The old city has some breathtaking buildings and landscaping and the awe inspiring and modern city of arts and sciences, the grand pix racing tracks and the new parts are an absolute delight for travelers.

“Its like you have entered a medivial city and then suddenly done some time traveling and reached space! people are warm, the food is awesome, the shopping is heady and even a walk around the old city is an enriching experience by itself! Valencia has a touched me and I would love to go back.”
