may have access to the world’s finest luxuries, however, one of the most lavish gifts she’s ever was not from her family, as one would expect.

The daughter of the Prince and Princess of Wales is only nine years old; however, she’s undoubtedly been spoilt rotten on various occasions.

, on her actual birthday in 2015, when she received one of the most luxurious gifts for a newborn – a gorgeous 18k white gold rattle lined with all kinds of gems.

The precious piece was lined with sapphires, rubies and diamonds to produce the Union Jack flag. It was estimated to be worth £35,426.

The gift was given to Charlotte when she was born by the Natural Sapphire Company as a way of thank you to and Princess Kate.

Following the couple’s engagement in 2010, sales of Sapphire engagement rings skyrocketed with women trying to replicate the Princess of Wales’s ring.

On its website, the company said at the time of Charlotte’s birth: “When Kate and William were engaged with the iconic blue sapphire ring that once belonged to Princess Diana, our sapphire ring sales rocketed. Women everywhere wanted to be just as fashionable as Kate.

“Today, we continue to grow as a business and it is with great joy that we celebrate the birth of a new royal. We’re thanking Kate and William for introducing our company to the world, by gifting a custom-designed baby rattle, fit for their Princess.

“Baby gifts made from precious metals are a tradition dating back to the 18th century. Our luxury rattle, worth $45,000, is made from 18k white gold; lined with sapphires, rubies and diamonds to produce the Union Jack flag.

However, even though Kensington Palace never confirmed whether the lavish baby toy was received by William and Kate, a general rule according to the Palace is that gifts from commercial companies were not accepted, the Mail reported.

That wasn’t the only lavish gift Charlotte received on her birthday.

The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, made a a £79,000 ($100,000) donation to Immunize Canada, a vaccination charity in her name, while he also gave the one-year-old a snowsuit and a book.
