According to an anonymous source who spoke to the New York Post, Kate has agreed to speak to police as ‘she wants the right people to be brought to justice’.

The former couple, who had been dating for two years, were in Buenos Aires in October before Kate left the capital city to return to the United States. Two days after her departure, Liam fell to his death from his room’s balcony on the third floor. His autopsy report said he died from multiple injuries and external bleeding.

Kate is not under investigation for any wrongdoing, but has reportedly agreed to provide a witness statement to provide police with further information into Liam’s final days.

It is known that Liam spent time with Argentine businessman Rogelio Nores, who has reportedly given a statement to investigators.

Officials have confirmed that, in addition to ongoing forensic tests, investigators are still analysing “mobile phones, computers, photographs and CCTV footage”, stating: “They will require a longer period of analysis”, reports .

Since his death, Kate has reportedly moved out of the home they shared in London. Earlier this month pictures published online showed Kate moving suitcases out of the riverside property, which is believed to have been owned by Liam.

reported that Kate was in the UK for Liam’s funeral last month and stayed at the flat during the trip, but then travelled back to the US to spend Christmas with her family.

After the singer’s death, Kate took to to share her pain over the loss. She wrote: “I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can’t put into words.

“I wish you could see the huge impact you’ve had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone – millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me.

“Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into. None of this feels real, and I can’t wrap my head around this new reality of not having you here. I’m struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side.”
