star GK Barry confronted her fears of germs and vomiting after being rushed to hospital due to a Christmas catastrophe.
The social media sensation, who featured in the recent series of the programme, disclosed that she was rushed into A&E with her girlfriend Ella Rutherford. Although she didn’t offer full details, she confessed they’d had a horrifying experience as she posted a picture from the waiting area for her followers.
GK – whose real name is Grace Keeling – stated: “Currently in A&E with Ella, the emetophobia and germ phobia has been confirmed.” She continued: “Walked in to a woman throwing up and passing out. If I ever break a bone or do anything that needs me to attend A&E just let me die.”
GK’s partner Ella stood by her during her stint in the Australian jungle where she starred alongside celebrities such as Tulisa Contostavlos, Maura Higgins, and Danny Jones, reports . Upon her exit from the show, 25 year old Grace was met on the iconic bridge by her footballer girlfriend Ella, with the couple sharing a passionate kiss and hug.
They also couldn’t help but display their affection publicly on their journey home as they exchanged kisses on their flight back. Following her stint in the jungle, Grace candidly discussed her decision to open up about her relationship with Ella.

“Before I went in, I was quite private about my relationship… I didn’t say her name or anything, but I just thought, I really want to connect with these people and relate to a lot of them, ” she confessed to the Mirror.
She continued: “So when I was talking with Dean [McCullough], I wanted to be as open as possible and I just thought, you know what, I’m just going to say it. I was like, I can’t sit there and not say how I feel.”
Despite the distance during Grace’s time in the jungle, they’re making up for lost time now and are expected to be inseparable in the coming months. Grace shared that Ella has insisted they “must be joined at the hip at all times” now that she’s returned.
While on the show, GK also opened up about her sexuality, stating that although she’d slept with girls in the past, until meeting Ella, she had “only dated men”.

The influencer revealed: “It was by accident I found Ella, through a mutual friend and then I really liked her the first day I met her but I’d never told my parents.”
She elaborated that her parents were already acquainted with Ella’s name: “I’d mentioned, ‘Oh I’m just going to see my friend Ella’ or ‘I’m staying round Ella’s’, so they’d heard her name.”
GK finally came clean about her relationship to her parents during a visit, confessing: “Oh, she’s my girlfriend.”
Her admission was met with warmth and acceptance as her parents fell in love with Ella, indicating no issues whatsoever: “They just love her, they never had an issue with it.”
Reflecting on the situation with a hint of amusement, GK joked: “To be fair I feel like the closet may have been glass!”
