‘I’m 6’4 – one life hack saved me from hours of discomfort on a plane’

A popular remedy for the seasonal disorder is to book a to chase the sun. But with that comes hours of sitting on a plane, with many people can find uncomfortable.

However, one man named Josh took to to share his to have a more comfortable travel despite being 6’4 tall, and it only includes one thing.

He shared a video showing him sitting in a narrow plane seat with barely any room for his feet to be on the floor. To make the plane ride more comfortable for both him and the person sitting next to him, he had secured a bungee cord around his legs.

The reason for this is to prevent them from ‘manspreading’ across to the other passenger’s side, while also allowing him to relax his legs and sitting more comfortably.

“Just doing my community service,” he wrote in the description of the video.

While many people questioned why he used a bungee cord and not simply just ‘kept his legs closed’, he made a follow up video where he said: “I am so fascinated by the fact that most people don’t know that it does not feel good to close your legs as a man.

“Our hips are meant to open because there’s something there that we need to make space for. So it literally is a quad workout to force your legs to close more than they naturally do.”

While most people still questioned the need for this ”, several people also applauded his compassion and thoughtfulness for not wanting to invade into another passenger’s space.

“This is actually so hot and considerate of you,” one person commented.

A second user said: “No because seriously my legs get so tired from being tensed.”

Another person wrote: “I just put my legs in the aisle and stare at the aisle the entire flight moving them when people walk, it’s hard for us tall folks.”
