For those wanting to pull back on their spending, especially after the extensive period, you could see spectacular fireworks for free.

While the tickets for ‘s fireworks along the embankment are currently priced from £80, there are plenty of spots in to watch them (and others) for free.

Some of the best hilltops to see the famous fireworks include , just north of Regent’s Park, and by , near Wood Green in North London.

Additional viewing spots include on Hampstead Heath, Telegraph Hill at Brockley in Lewisham, and by Greenwich.
