Reform UK leader also launched a scathing attack on the government’s plans to ban trail hunting, branding it an “attack on rural communities”.

He said: “I think it was a shame that they banned fox hunting back in 2004. I’ve attended hunts, I have never been on horseback but I think it’s a wonderful tradition that we have in this country.”
