is preparing to resume his campaign against Ian White, who will attempt to cause a major upset on Saturday.
The Nuke is the favourite to win the tournament but will need to be on top of his game to avoid being dumped out, with plenty of established names having already been sent packing.
Michael Smith was the biggest casualty of the second round, losing to Kevin Doets, while Gary Anderson suffered a shock exit at the hands of Jeffrey de Graaf.
Rob Cross and Dave Chisnall have also been knocked out of the competition, losing at the hands of Scott Williams and Ricky Evans respectively.
Never before have so many seeds been eliminated in their opening match at the World Darts Championship. Littler will certainly be hoping to avoid following in their footsteps when he faces White this weekend.
