The Most Phallic Moment Of Bowl Game Season Just Happened And It’s Glorious

With more than a dozen Division I universities using “Bulldogs” as their sports nickname, maybe Fresno State should take the hint that it’s time to separate from the pack.

During the football team’s Famous Idaho Potato Bowl appearance on Monday, multiple ESPN graphics accidentally (we assume) referred to the team as the “Bulldongs,” SF Gate reported.

Catchy and saucy and worth repeating, no?

It’s STILL there. https://t.co/pgDrGSrbeYpic.twitter.com/XS6tDpxOOJ

Who wouldn’t buy season tickets to cheer on the Bulldongs? Imagine the fight-song possibilities, not to mention the mascot.

But if this were the university’s last game officially as the Bulldogs before their Bulldongs change (no, it’s not really happening), the team went out limply.

Fresno State surrendered an early 10-point lead and lost in double overtime, 28-20.

Well at least they hung in there.

And perhaps a member of the sports network’s graphics staff found themselves in an uncomfortable place.
