Brussels sprouts, once the most snubbed item on the roast dinner plate, are now winning over Britons, with their popularity surging in recent years.

No longer just a dinner staple, these little green gems can often turn out bland and unappetising if not correctly with a great .

But fear not, foodies, as a culinary pro has taken to to reveal his game-changing “perfectly crispy” Brussels sprouts that’s both “super easy” and restaurant-quality.

Ingredients 

Brussels sprouts

Sea salt

Black pepper

Garlic powder

Honey

Olive oil

Method 

Start by giving the Brussels sprouts a good wash and peeling away any wilted outer leaves.

Then, slice them in half lengthwise and toss them into a bowl with a generous amount of olive oil, a pinch of sea salt, a crack of black pepper, a sprinkle of garlic powder, and a drizzle of honey to add that sweet, caramelised finish.

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, then add olive oil to a preheated baking tray.

Next, place the chopped sprouts on the tray, ensuring they are face down.

Roast them in the oven for 30 minutes at 230 degrees or until they’re super crispy. Season with salt to your liking and enjoy.
