Prince William’s ‘terrible fights’ with sibling revealed before pair reunite for Christmas

It is well-documented that with his brother Prince Harry for some time now, however not many know that he also has a frosty relationship with a step sibling too.

While the future King, 42, rarely comments on family matters, it has been reported that the Prince of Wales was not always best pleased after Camilla and King Charles pursued their relationship after Princess Diana’s death.

When the King and Queen wed in 2005, and not only had a new stepmother but also two new step siblings from Camilla’s first marriage – Laura Lopes, 46, and Tom Parker Bowles, 49.

Although Laura was seen laughing with William and Harry at the 2005 wedding, it seems that the relationship between Laura and William was not always smooth sailing.

, in Katie Nicholl’s 2010 book Harry and William, she wrote: “William and Laura used to have terrible fights over who was to blame for their broken homes.

“William would blame Camilla for all the hurt she had caused his mother [Princess Diana], which would send Laura into a rage.

“Laura was not having any of it. She would take a hard line and fire back at William, ‘Your father has ruined my life.’”

The step siblings are rarely seen in public together, with Laura busy as an established art curator and Tom working as a food critic and author.

However, with expected to in just two days time for Christmas, it is believed these sibling rifts are a thing of the past.
