Emmerdale Peter’s secret boss ‘revealed’ but fans say ‘it’s too obvious’

Emmerdale has seemingly unveiled the identity of Peter’s enigmatic superior, spelling trouble for .

Peter, played by David Michaels, arrived in the Dales amidst the split between Kim (Claire King) and Will (Dean Andrews). In an attempt to safeguard her wealth from Will, Kim enlisted the services of financial advisor Peter.

However, Kim called off her feud with Will and their impending divorce, realising her enduring love for him. Will reciprocated these feelings, leading to a swift rekindling of their romance.

The couple is now looking forward to renewing their vows on Christmas Day.

The plot thickened when it was disclosed that Peter and Will have been secretly conspiring for months to bring down Kim. Adding to the intrigue, Peter is not acting alone but is in league with an unknown individual intent on sabotaging Kim’s life.

Details about this mysterious character are sparse, other than he is male and currently overseas. Even Will is unaware of the boss’s identity.

This enigmatic man plans to arrive in the village on Christmas Eve, perfectly timed to disrupt Will and Kim’s vow renewal ceremony.

In Monday’s episode (December 23), the soap hinted at a potential suspect. At Home Farm, Will was taken aback when Peter appeared, saying that his boss needed information on Kim from Will.

Annoyed with the secrecy, Will’s temper flared as he claimed to know the identity of the mysterious ‘boss’. He confided in Peter that Jamie Tate was the mastermind, citing Jamie’s deep-seated animosity towards Kim as his reasoning.

Peter remained tight-lipped, neither confirming nor denying Jamie’s involvement. However, fans will remember that Jamie, Kim’s son born in 1996, has a complicated history with his mother.
