Queen Camilla’s son reveals two items he was told to bring to Royal Christmas celebrations

and Queen Camilla will be starting to prepare for Christmas Day next week as they are to Sandringham for the annual festivities.

Among those set to attend are a number of senior royals including , Princess Kate, and their three children, as well as some guests who have never attended a Christmas with the Royal Family before.

This includes Queen Camilla’s son Tom Parker Bowles, 50 , who shared just weeks ago that

that while he usually spends December 25 at his ex-wife’s house in comfy clothes, he will be swapping that next week for Christmas with the royals instead, a request he said was made by his mum.

Tom, a food critic and author, said: “My mum said ‘I’d love you to come, I haven’t had Christmas with you for a long time’.”

As well as requesting her son to attend the big day, Camilla, 77, also reportedly told him to bring two necessary items with him for the celebration – a suit and a dinner jacket.

, Tom said: “I genuinely know nothing about it.

“But I know there’s turkey and sprouts and church. And I have to bring a suit and a dinner jacket.”

As well as attending Christmas Day celebrations, it is likely Tom will also be at Sandringham for Christmas Eve for the annual gift giving tradition, a nod to the family’s German heritage.

This will be followed by

It is not yet known whether Tom will take part in the walk to church with the Royal Family on Christmas Day morning, led by the King and Queen.

After the church service, the family gather back at Sandringham House for Christmas Dinner, followed by a TV viewing of the King’s speech.
