Nigel Farage’s Reform UK – which recently hit the 100,000-members mark – has launched a live membership ticker with the party on the verge of overtaking the .
Less than six months after the general election which saw five Reform MPs elected, the fledgling eurosceptic outfit is surging in popularity, with two recent polls suggesting it had nudged ahead of the .
And following the launch of a new under-25s membership price, more than a thousand young people in the UK signed up within forty eight hours.
The live membership ticker was launched at 5pm.
Mr Farage, Reform’s MP for Clacton, said “Reform has all the momentum in British politics, as our membership numbers show.

“We are growing at an unprecedented rate and will soon surpass the failed , who are being abandoned after 14 years of deception and failure.”
Reform UK Chairman, Zia Yusuf added: “History is being made as the century-long stranglehold the two old parties have had on Britain is finally broken.
“ will be the next Prime Minister, and will return Britain to greatness.”
Reform evolved from the Party, which was formed in 2019 with the aim of ensuring the UK’s exit from the EU.

In the 2024 general election, Farage secured his first parliamentary seat, marking a significant milestone in his political career.
The party secured more than four million votes, translating to a 14.3% share of the national vote.
Despite this substantial support, the first-past-the-post electoral system limited their representation in Parliament.
Reform UK’s prospects of securing a majority government in 2029 appear challenging under the current electoral framework.
The Conservative Party had an estimated 172,000 members in 2022, according the House of Commons Library – the most up-to-date figures available.
The puts Reform’s membership at past 118,000. It claims: “We will overtake the Conservative Party at 131,680.”
