The mum blasted the Christmas experience as her family’s
A mum has blasted what promised to be a great for her and her family after it turned out to be the “worst”.
The TikTok content creator boarded the Polar Express Train Ride in with her children – but she has since recommended to her followers that they should “avoid” it.
The popular railway experience – which is themed on the festive movie of the the name – is one in which passengers board a train from Birmingham Moor Street station and have the Christmas tale re-created for them through “sights and sounds.”
But the mum was furious after her family’s trip.
She said: “I wouldn’t normally start a video like this but this is my honest thoughts on why you should avoid doing the Polar Express experience in Birmingham.
“Now, I had really high hopes for this experience, but I came away feeling really disappointed.”

The mum of two paid £207.76 for herself, two children and mum to embark as she shared that you could only purchase seats in twos or fours.
She went on to show how, despite being informed to arrive 20 minutes early, everyone was “shoved” into a holding area before boarding the train, which had “far too many people” and after that, there was a show in which according to the video creator was difficult for people to see, “let alone children.”
While she did praise the actors on how they played their parts, her actual train experience wasn’t any better than what she had already revealed in the video.

Santa Claus making an appearance was also part of the experience. However, the moment in the video was described as “the most disappointing bit.”
She said: “I mean I’m not asking a lot, but at this point, it would’ve been nice for him to even ask for their names.
“And I think out of that total time Santa spent about 30 seconds with us. Yeah, I think for £207, this was possibly one of the worst Christmas experiences we’ve ever had.”
