If you’re looking for an alternative option to pudding as your festive dessert this year – then look no further than Terry’s Chocolate Orange toast pie.

A for the air fryer delight has been shared on , where users of the social media platform were left drooling in anticipation. What’s more, it’s creator Chloe, says it uses just four ingredients and takes only five minutes to make.

In an instructional video, she began by showcasing the finished product, squeezing it to show the chocolate insides oozing from the pastry. Revealing how it’s done, meanwhile, Chloe took a slice of white bread and removed the crust from all four edges.

Next, she placed two Terry’s Chocolate orange segments in the middle of the bread, before egg-washing the inside edges. Chloe then folded the bread to conceal the chocolate, and pressed a fork around the edges to seal it.

After adding egg-wash to the entire outside, she placed the pie into an air fryer at a temperature of 170C for four to five minutes allowing it to golden. To complete her delight, Chloe recommended dusting it with icing sugar and drizzling melted chocolate orange over it.

“The hack I didn’t know I needed, omg,” declared one user in response. A second responded: “I will definitely be making this as chocolate orange is my favourite chocolate.”

A third joked: “I can’t wait to have my own house and make these and not have to share it!” Whilst a fourth declared: “Looks fab. The McDonald’s one is horrid, bet this is way better.”

If you’re keen to snap up a Terry’s Chocolate Orange, the cheapest supermarkets to pick up the standard 157g box are Aldi and Tesco. Both reatilers are selling the festive favourite for just £1.49, with Tesco price matching Aldi on the product.
