Princess Alexandra attended the Royal Family pre-Christmas lunch yesterday.

The cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth, 87, attended the Royal Family’s pre-Christmas lunch on Thursday, hosted by King Charles.
The princess, who will celebrate her next birthday on Christmas Day, was all smiles as she was driven into the Palace.
It is believed she was of Greece. At the service, she was seated in a wheelchair on the front row at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, next to her daughter Marina Ogilvy.
Her appearance at the service came after Alexandra performed three engagements in 2023, including attending King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Coronation and presenting medals to members of The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeth’s Own) as Deputy Colonel-in-Chief.

While the princess, the daughter of Queen Elizabeth’s uncle Prince George the Duke of Kent, is not often seen in public today, she is believed to have been a , especially during Queen Elizabeth’s reign.
Princess Alexandra often represented the late Queen at events both in the UK and worldwide, as well as being by the monarch’s side on several occasions, such as Trooping The Colour and various state dinners.
The late Queen was so fond of her cousin that she hosted a celebration in honour of Princess Alexandra’s 80th birthday in 2016.
It is believed that the princess now spends most of her time at her home Thatched House Lodge in Richmond Park.
