GB News’ Stephen Dixon halts show as stars have ‘bust-up’ live on air

presenter Stephen Dixon forced fans to do a double take as he proposed a “bust-up” between his two co-stars live on air.

During Friday’s visit (December 20) to the TV studios, the 50-year-old woke up the nation alongside his co-star Dawn Neesom as they discussed some of the biggest stories hitting the headlines.

This included the verdict following the shocking mass rape trial which saw a Frenchman slapped with a 20-year sentence and the latest warnings for people travelling over the Christmas period.

But things took an unexpected turn when they welcomed sports reporter Paul Coyte and political presenter Christopher Hope as they teased the upcoming matches set to take place this weekend.

The pair couldn’t help but discuss Tottenham Spurs’ impressive 4-3 win against on Thursday (December 19), which long-time supporter Paul was over the moon about.

It comes as Tottenham prepare to take on Liverpool in a Premiere League match on Sunday, which could see them climb up the leaderboard again after their win against .

Another match set to dominate our screens this week is the boxing match between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk which will air on Saturday night (December 21).

The pair will face off in a heavyweight rematch after the Ukranian boxer beat the Manchester sportsman six months ago via a split decision vote.

It didn’t take long before long-term Liverpool fan Christopher Hope started dishing out fighting talk to Paul during the morning show.

As they went back and forth with playful football banter ahead of the Premiere League match, Stephen teased that the pair should fight it out live on the show.

He teased: “Here’s a thought, because we’re gearing up for the big fight [between Fury and Usyk] tomorrow night, why don’t you two have a bust-up in the studio?”

Christopher immediately laughed at the idea before he suggested: “Ooh, maybe a stare-off?” but Stephen insisted: “No, no a bust-up. Let’s get fists involved for the football match.”

Paul suggested: “Let’s make it an arm wrestle, we’ll have one of those” before adding: “because if it’s a match against wit, I’ve got no chance.”

The presenters soon agreed to a cheeky ‘stare-off’ on the show, which Christopher quickly won before the pair moved on to the next segment.
