This is according to , who analysed data between 2022 and 2024.
The team used internal data where Brits used their website to help them make the move.
Coming top was the USA with 1st Move International commenting: “The U.S is a diverse place full of opportunity, suitable for any stage of life, whether you’re still in education, looking to start a business, or simply craving your next adventure.
“Also, the lack of a language barrier for UK residents makes the transition more manageable.”

Australia was second on the list
In second place was Australia with the country being a great spot for British expats. The researchers added: “Similar to the U.S, the lack of a language barrier for UK residents makes Australia an incredibly attractive opportunity.
“Combined with the weather, a stark contrast to the UK, travelling across the world to find your new home is irresistible.”
Meanwhile, in third place was the UAE, with the experts explaining: “Dubai has become a popular tourist destination in recent years.

Canada was the most-searched location in the world
“However, it offers expats several benefits. It’s sunny, modern, and safe, making it suitable for families. Dubai also has no income tax, making your take-home income considerably higher.”
Canada was fourth on the list, followed by New Zealand rounding up the top five. Elsewhere, based on global Google search data, Canada topped the list when it comes to where the world wants to live.
Canada was the most-searched relocation destination in 74 countries.
The northern American country was followed by Australia, Spain, Germany, and the UK.
