Strictly’s Anton Du Beke shared an exciting announcement with fans
Strictly Come Dancing judge shared a very exciting announcement with fans. Now that the 2024 series of the dance show is over, the TV judge is going on tour – but not alone.
Starting in March 2025 and ending the same year in November, Anton du Beke At The Musicals will be visting many cities in the UK, with dates in Blackpool, , Winbledon and more. On Friday, the 58-year-old dancer shared an extra bit of news about his tour.
Posting to social media Anton shared that he would be joined by Strictly professional Lauren Oakley. Taking to , while dressed in a stunningly white tuxedo, the Strictly judge wrote: “Hello my loves!
“I’m thrilled to announce that the wonderful @laurenmayoakley is joining me as my leading lady on my ‘Anton Du Beke at the Musicals’ tour next year for the spring shows!”
He continued to sing his co-star’s praises, adding: “She is just an absolute superstar, and I’m delighted that she’s joining us!
“So, if you’re looking for something to look forward to next year, or even a last-minute Christmas gift, tickets are available now at www.antontour.com.”
In the clip, Lauren spun into shot after Anton announced a “very special guest”. He exclaimed: “It’s Lauren!”
Fans in the comments were delighted with the news. One wrote: “Yaaaaay! So excited it’s Lauren,” with another adding: “Saw her with Gio this year, she is a fantastic dancer.”
A third excited fan penned: “Just when I thought I couldn’t be more excited… I can’t wait!!” While someone else said: “Excited!”

Lauren Oakley will be joining Anton on tour
In July 2022, Oakley was announced to be joining the twentieth series of as a professional, along with Vito Coppola, Carlos Gu, and Michelle Tsiakkas.
Oakley did not partner a celebrity for her first series, and instead took part in the professional group routines.
The following year, she was paired with presenter and journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy for the twenty-first series. They were eliminated in the eighth week of the competition after losing the dance off to Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington.
Oakley returned for the twenty-second series and did not receive a celebrity partner. She danced however, with JLS singer in the show’s seventh week, standing in for an ill Amy Dowden. The following Monday it was confirmed that Oakley would partner Gill for the remainder of the series, as Dowden withdrew from the series due to a foot injury.
