With the season 14 line-up including Jonathan Groff and Callie Cooke, has become even more star-studded with the inclusion of a winner.
The iconic drama’s showrunner Russell T Davies confirmed 2021 winner Rose Ayling-Ellis will be joining the highly anticipated instalment.
The 29-year-old is best known for starring in as Frankie Lewis, but her 2022 exit from the soap has seen her career excel.
Russell opened up about the actress’ addition to the series during a Q&A and teased that her episode will be one of the scariest in the show’s history.
He shared: “We’ve got a story with Rose Ayling-Ellis in the lead. She’s the lead in one episode, which is stunning. I think it’s our scariest episode, it’s absolutely terrifying.

“She’s magnificent. It’s Ncuti with her and other guest names in that cast [and they’re] phenomenal,” reports.
Rose’s new role was officially announced on social media with a peek at her seemingly distressed character.

Speaking on her new role, Rose disclosed: “I loved Doctor Who when I was growing up, so being cast in the show was a dream come true. My inner child is ecstatic with excitement.
“Working with Russell and filming alongside the talented cast and crew has been an incredible experience. Ncuti is a wonderful Doctor, and I can’t wait for audiences to see what we have created together,” she added to the outlet.
